First establish what the transaction comprises
Clarify the platform, parties identified in the documents, order identifier, asset, quantity, settlement currency and period. Identify what is disputed: order creation, payment, crypto receipt, amount or sequence. An interface status label does not replace examining all these facts.
Distinguish trades inside a platform, deposits and withdrawals to the public network. They may be different events with different identifiers. Not every history row corresponds to an on-chain transfer; reflect this in the chronology.
Compare documents using shared details
Compare the order with history, relevant correspondence and payment documents. Check amounts, currency, details, times and identifiers. Record payer or recipient discrepancies separately without assuming who actually participated.
One matching amount is insufficient, especially among many similar payments. Assess the combination of indicators and event sequence. If several matches are possible, show the ambiguity and explain which missing details would resolve it.
Check time, units and amount components
Identify time zones before comparing times. Preserve original timestamps and separately show conversion to a common scale. Order creation, payment marking, completion and block inclusion are different events, not automatically one moment.
When comparing quantities, consider decimal places, fees and amounts split across sources. Compare rouble payments and crypto quantities using the specific trade’s terms. A price change alone does not explain a mismatch: check the rate and amount recorded in the documents.
Use blockchain data where relevant to the task
For public-network deposits or withdrawals, check network, addresses, asset identifier, hash and actual result. Compare the export identifier with the located record. Ensure the token is the intended asset, not another with a similar symbol.
A transfer to a platform address does not yet confirm internal credit to a particular account. Public records usually do not reveal later internal exchanges either. These links need service records; without them, state the limit in the conclusions.
What the comparison result looks like
The result may be a table listing each event’s source, identifier, original time, amount and linked record from another source. List confirmed matches, discrepancies and missing information separately. Appendices show the documents behind each material entry.
This examination answers technical questions about consistency and sequence. Matches alone do not establish participants’ intent or automatically determine legality. Scope and written deliverable are agreed based on available materials.
